We have made numerous program additions and feature enhancements to this new version of Administrator's Plus. Many of these new features have been implemented as a result of feed-back from you, our valued customers. PORTFOLIO FEATURE: A portfolio is an electronic folder that is a part of each student's record. These portfolio folders can contain any type of file including documents, sound clips and pictures. If you have the storage space, you can even add movie clips of recitals, plays, or speeches. Portfolios can also be maintained for staff members. Administrators Plus can automatically
add any document it produces to students' portfolios as PDF documents.
For example, in one step you can create report cards for 1,000
students, send them home using Administrator's
Plus E-Mail and at the same time store a PDF copy in each
student's portfolio folder! Moreover, copies of attendance,
discipline and other letters can automatically be added to portfolios
whenever they are generated. When it comes time to produce a
transcript for a student, there is no need to generate a new
one, just reprint the last one in the portfolio. Documents may also be manually added to portfolios by dragging and dropping them directly into the Portfolio window or by using a scanner. Portfolios can also be maintained for staff members. Link a collection of files demonstrating a students best work to his/her database record. Simply call up a student's record and click the Portfolio button to add documents, pictures, or other files to the students portfolio. While viewing a students portfolio, the list of files can be sorted by date, file type, description or remarks. All student portfolio information can also be stored in one convenient network location on the school's network where all Administrator's Plus users have access. Note: The Portfolio feature must be purchased separately. DELUXE OFF-SITE DATA BACKUP SERVICE Your school's administrative data is invaluable and irreplaceable. Without a proper backup system, in an instant it could all be lost forever due to computer failure, hard drive failure, stolen computer, water damage, fire, hurricane, earthquake, viruses, malicious damage or user error. In a school, everyone assumes someone else is backing up properly and that the backup system is working as it should. But what if there is a problem? Rediker Software to the rescue. How Does it Work? It gets copies of your data safely out of your school. Numerous copies of your data are maintained so, if you discover that a file has become corrupted weeks or months after the corruption occurred, the Deluxe Backup Service has retained numerous copies of your backed up data. Therefore, you can recover files to their original state, days, weeks, months or years in the past. More details...THE DELUXE SCHEDULE BUILDER makes building your master schedule faster, and easier than ever! The Deluxe Builder automates many of the previously required tasks of building a master schedule such as populating the builder with your master course numbers, calculating the number of sections needed and optimum section size for each course, and auto-assigning "preferred" teachers to specific courses. The Deluxe Builder can even adjust the "default" optimum section sizes stored in the master course list based on the actual number of course requests. This powerful feature of the Deluxe Builder will ensure that the Perform Scheduling program loads students into sections that are as evenly balanced as possible. Additionally, the Deluxe Schedule Builder makes it possible to view and build all courses from one screen, build 2 semesters at the same time, build courses with more than 8 sections and much more! PERIOD ATTENDANCE REPORTS BY TEACHER: The Daily Details format prints student attendance codes for each school day within your specified date range. The Summary Data format prints the total number of excused, unexcused and pending absences and tardies as well as "other" attendance in the same format as the View Period Attendance screen. Alternatively, you can choose to summarize the attendance code totals by register code. Period Attendance Reports by Teacher can include attendance for a specific date interval and/or year-to-date. Numerous filtering options are also available, including the ability to include only selected periods, individual sections, sections meeting a particular quarter or semester, courses and/or study halls, course numbers within a specified range, and more! MORE DATABASE FIELDS: Administrators Plus now provides up to 260 fields for storing student demographic information.
