Scheduling Has Never Been Easier!

Since every school has unique needs, Scheduling Plus is designed for flexibility. The program can create any type of schedule; it can even accommodate schools that use block scheduling. The program is so advanced that it provides two methods for schedule building: Interactive and Automatic. Using either mode, your can easily build a master schedule based on students' course requests and teacher availability. In Automatic mode, the program analyzes the available information and determines when each section should ideally meet to minimize potential conflicts. If you prefer to maintain more control over the scheduling process, the Interactive mode alerts you to which periods would be best and which teachers are available, but allows you to make choices based on the program's information.

Easily View, Edit and Print Student Schedules

Scheduling Plus makes viewing and printing schedules a breeze. To call up a student's schedule, enter the student’s ID number, type the first few letters of their last name, or use convenient lookup menus. Move students from one course section to another using lookup windows displaying all sections for a course, meeting times, assigned teachers, current sizes, and if that section will fit into the student's current schedule or is in conflict. Print schedules in line and grid formats on paper, index stock or Rolodex cards.

E-Mail, Web and PDA Features

Put Schedules Online - Make schedules available online for parents and students using our Edline web center. Edline provides secure online access to schedules, course credits and more. Also, by helping parents become more involved in their children’s education, Edline helps schools achieve their NCLB goals.

View Schedules on PDAs - Our optional PDA module lets you view any student’s schedule from anywhere on campus using a Palm or Windows CE device. The screen automatically highlights the current period so that users can verify where a student should be.

E-Mail Schedules - Save money, time, supplies and postage by sending schedules electronically. Using our optional e-mail module, you can e-mail sschedules in grid or line format to individual students or groups, such as homerooms, teachers, and parents.

Reports to Facilitate Scheduling

Scheduling Plus includes a built-in report writer that lets you produce numerous reports to facilitate the scheduling process, including :

Master schedule of requests - Lists all students who signed up for a specific class, listed either by entire school or by grade level.
Tally report - Details how many sections of a specific course should be created and suggests meeting times.

Course Master Lists - Create a Course Master List detailing all courses offered and whatever pertinent information you choose: course level, credits, weight, GPA factor, optimum size, length (semester, year, quarter, etc.) code, text book title, and book, course, or lab fees. You can also choose to print these details on students’ schedules. If your school uses our Report Cards Plus module, the details from the course master lists such as credits, GPA factor, weight and code, can be printed on report cards and transcripts.
